The Future of Teaching
According to ingenious-science young generations in future are going to need skills in MATH, SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, and FOREIGN LANGUAGES, people will have to be creative, be able to solve problems and be team players. The European Union is working on many projects to reach the aim; one of the projects is engaging schools in modern teaching.
When you hear that one question arises: Are we preparing our students and pupils to meet the needs of the future? We need to integrate the skills children already have into our school lessons and let them use their own media. Let them develop their own ideas through projects. We need to engage pupils. This means that if job requirements change, so has to do teaching. There are predictions about the development of teaching in 2060 however; they might become reality for some of us in 2020. Whether it happens that way or not one thing is certain, we already have new problems due to the fast changing economy, we need creative teaching now because we cannot tackle new problems with old solutions. modern teaching
